New session begins today!
We apologize for neglecting you but winter has been so brutal it seemed like we almost fell off the face of the earth ! It definitely has been quiet around the studio but because our Ohana is so important to us we braved the storms, danced our hearts out, and imagined that we were dancing in the hot sandy beaches of the islands !
Today, May 17, kicks off the first day of the session !! For those of you that are still interested, we welcome you with open arms and would love to have you drop in for a FREE class ! You don’t have to have prior hula/tahitian dance experience. Just come in with an open mind and plenty of water … if you think it’s chilly outside, you will be sweating inside. So put on some comfy work out clothes and bring a sarong if you have one – get ready to learn some kaholos, helas, amis and more !
Session Begins: Tuesday 5/17/11-6/28/11
Tuesday evening- 7:30 PM-8:15 PM – Beginner Hula- Learn the auana {modern} and kahiko {ancient} dances of Hawai’i
Tuesday evening- 8:25 PM- 9:05 PM - Beginner Tahitian- Learn the ʻōteʻa and aparima dances of Tahiti
Tuition
$65 per session = 6 weeks (Hula or Tahitian)
$90 per session = 6 weeks (BOTH Hula and Tahitian)
